As a longtime goalie, and goaltending coach, I've seen firsthand how goalies are often the forgotten players when it comes to practice plans. Coaches like having a goalie in the net, because players like having a "live" target to shoot at, but all too often there is little in the way of construction instruction for the person between the pipes. In fact, most practice plans seem unintentionally designed to encourage goalies to develop bad habits, just out of survival. I intend to change that. Though I make a living coaching goaltenders, I want to avoid the "auto body shop" method of goalie development. You know, where goalies are sent to private sessions to get all their dents (bad habits) removed. Instead, I want to incorporate regular practice plans that not only benefit positional players, but goaltenders as well. That's what you'll find here.
